Sun 5 May – Thomas River, Cape Arid NP

Weather looking a little cloudy, but promising.  Turned out to be delightfully warm with blue skies and some cloud.

Headed out on the 4WD track to Tagun Beach – Clive and Scott to fill in the morning and early afternoon trying to catch a fish.  I caught a lift with them, then headed back along the coastal trail from Tagun Beach, around to Little Tagun, Dolphin Cove and back to the campsite for lunch.  The Kindle is getting quite a work out.  ¾ of the way through Persuasion and have finished the first three books of Jeffrey Archer’s Clifton Chronicals so far this holiday.

Clive and Showy arrived back after 2 pm – no fish – but they enjoyed relaxing on the beach in the sun whilst trying.

Tidying up and taking it easy this afternoon, ready to head via Esperance again and further West tomorrow.
